Elisabeth Carpenter is a professional stuntwoman based out of Los Angeles, CA. Her film and television credits include Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Insurgent, Fear the Walking Dead, The Wrong Missy, Wonder Woman, The Polar Express, and many more. She specializes in wire work, high work, and thrives on continuing to expand her skills to include everything from riding motorcycles to scuba diving.

Raised in Vermont as part of a large family, she spent her childhood as both a competitive gymnast and a (slightly) wild hooligan, playing any sport she could, climbing trees, swinging and leaping off anything she could find, and generally expending endless energy. She started performing with the circus at age 13, and moved to LA to pursue that at age 19. Her 15-year career as a Circus performer helped lay a strong foundation for stunts, and her unique upbringing and world travels prepared her for the exciting but often rigorous lifestyle of a stunt performer.

When she's not leaping off buildings or fighting villains in front of the screen, she can be found writing and playing music with her husband, Scotty, as part of their power-duo Cake Without Candles (more about that in "For Fun"). She still loves to travel, take photos, write, draw, cavort in the great outdoors, and meet new, interesting people from all walks of life.

Life is one big adventure if that's how you choose to see it. Every moment is a memory, a snapshot, a chance to create and leave your mark, an opportunity to bring joy to, and share passion with those you impact.” - Elisabeth Carpenter
